Hannah Sherman Therapy is looking to hire a part-time fee-for-service LMSW to work with a small caseload (6-8) of teen and adult clients virtually in NYC. Experience working with both individuals and couples preferred.

Therapists will:

• Manage a caseload of 6-8 clients

• Employ a HIPPA-approved Telehealth platform, Doxy, to meet with clients

• Utilize a range of research-informed therapeutic modalities to best meet the needs and therapeutic goals of each client

• Using the Simple Practice software, schedule therapy appointments, complete therapy progress notes and develop client treatment plans in a timely manner

• Participate in weekly or biweekly 1-hour LCSW supervision to review ongoing progress with clients and develop clinical skills

• Communicate with clients’ providers for coordination of care or crisis management as needed

• Engage in training opportunities such as IFS or DBT Skills Training (optional but preferred)

Therapists must:

• Have an active LMSW license in good standing with NYS

• Formal training in somatic-based modalities, IFS, and/or DBT is preferred

• Commit to a weekly schedule with flexibility for rescheduling clients as needed

• Have access to a safe and private work space with strong internet connection and stable technology

• Have at least one three years of direct psychotherapy experience in either their field placement or current agency or practice (having a specialty or specialty you want to build is strongly encouraged)

• Have a master’s degree from an accredited institution in this field

• Have a strong sense of professionalism with clients and staff

• Show openness to learning and receiving feedback in supervision as well as to trying new trainings and treatment modalities

• Be highly organized and timely with responding to emails and writing client documentation

• Exhibit independence in managing day to day tasks

• Show attention to detail in their clinical and administrative work
