We provide trauma-informed psychotherapy tailored to the unique challenges faced by teenagers and adults in today's fast-paced world. Our approach emphasizes an integrative approach towards holistic wellbeing, guiding individuals on a journey of healing and growth that encompasses both the mind and body. Recognizing the complexities of modern life, we believe that a trusting and engaged relationship between the therapist and client provides a safe space for exploration and change. We employ various evidence-based modalities that best meet the needs of our clients, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and somatic/mindfulness-based approaches. Together, we can co-create a space that is explorative and compassionate, so you can show up as you are, with all that wants to unfold. We are committed to employing an anti-oppressive lens in our work and actively fostering an environment that is welcoming and inclusive for humans of all ages, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds and sexual/gender identities.

Therapy sessions are 45-minutes long.

We offer primarily teletherapy sessions which are online video sessions. We reserve a few spots for in-person sessions at our office space in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.
-
Therapy sessions are typically weekly. Consistency of therapy sessions is an important part of the therapeutic process and allows for ongoing exploration and practice of the skills you will be learning.
-
Parents are an important part of the therapeutic process. Parents/guardians typically join for part of the intake session so we can collaborate on goals and share context about what’s bringing your teen to therapy. From there, sessions are primarily teen-led. Building trust and safety with adolescents means giving them space to decide when and how parents are involved. I always prioritize communication when helpful and appropriate, with clear exceptions around confidentiality related to safety concerns.

45-minute session: $165-$185 (dependent on the clinician). We offer sliding scale rates to those for whom our fees are prohibitive of accessing care.

We do not accept in-network benefits at this time. Many health insurance plans will reimburse for therapy provided by a licensed therapist as an out-of network provider. Depending on your insurance coverage, your out-of-pocket cost may be comparable to an in-network provider. If you would like to take advantage of your out-of-network benefits, we generate a monthly statement that you can forward to your insurance company to seek reimbursement. Good Faith Estimate Notice
We have partnered with Mentaya to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Use this tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement.
