Summer Self-Care Workshop for Children

Incorporating important tools for stress-management and anxiety, this predominantly mindfulness and meditation class focuses on slowing down and developing relaxation and grounding techniques as students settle into their summer and find balance as they transition from one school year to another. Students will unpack the meaning of self-care and learn accessible breathing, meditation and movement-based practices. Students will also have an opportunity to set intentions for their summer by creating an intention card that they can take home with them.

*This workshop is open to students entering grades 4-6.
