This predominantly meditation and mindfulness-based class is offered to girls ages 6-9. Incorporating important tools for stress management and anxiety, this empowering class focuses on slowing down and developing relaxation techniques. This class is tailored to be both insightful and engaging- with each week holding a different theme:
Week 1: Mindfulness 101
Week 2: Relax and Restore
Week 3: Balance and Focus
Week 4: Self-Compassion
Students will develop their skills over the course of this 4-week program, building upon concepts from the week before in a supportive and relaxing environment. Classes will include yoga movement, breathwork, meditation and art-based activities.
This class will take place on Wednesday July 11th, July 18th, July 25th and August 1st from 4:00-5:00 PM, allowing students to wind-down and relax after day camp and other summer programs!
*Pick-up from the Co-Op School and Artshack for students attending camp will be offered for an additional fee of $10 per day. Students who are picked up will be provided with a nutritious afternoon snack.
