Children's Yoga + Mindfulness
WHY YOGA AND MINDFULNESS FOR CHILDREN?
In a world of over-stimulation (test taking, crowded schedules, emojis), mindfulness is a precious practice for children and teens.
Mindfulness provides children with essential and accessible tools that allow them to tap into what is going on both inside and outside of their bodies at the present moment.
Yoga movement allows children to playfully explore mindfulness in a way that is both fun and illuminating.
I offer private and group classes for children (ages 5-16) that address the individual child or group’s needs and interests. Private classes and workshops are currently offered in New York City and surrounding areas.

I work to bring the healing benefits of yoga and mindfulness into your home or at her yoga studio space in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. I individualize the practice to best serve the creative mind(s) present for the journey.

Schools, organizations serving children, and families. I’m a vendor with the NYC Department of Education.
WHAT CLASSES ENTAIL
Classes incorporate yoga and mindfulness activities that help children:
Connect to themselves and their community
Access the power of their breath
Develop focus and concentration
Find strength, balance and confidence through movement
Recognize and regulate their own emotions
Learn how to nurture themselves through relaxation
Areas of focus may include stress relief, exploration of coping strategies, exercising self-compassion, improving focus/concentration or to simply have fun!
Private Children's Yoga + Mindfulness Classes
Private 45-minute classes are currently offered at my yoga studio space in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Classes are offered to children and teens ages 5-16. Classes are scheduled to best meet each families unique scheduling needs.
